Terms of Service
Last updated: September 18, 2026
These terms of service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the SafiDoctor platform available at app.safidoctor.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them without reservation. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1.Service publisher
The Service is published by SafiDoctor ("we"). Contact: [email protected] — WhatsApp +213 560 42 81 38 (messages only).
2.Definitions
- "Practitioner": a health professional holding an account.
- "User": any person accessing the Service (a practitioner or an authorized member of their team).
- "Patient Data": data entered by the practitioner in their records.
- "Organization": a space bringing together several users of the same care structure.
3.Access to the Service — eligibility
The Service is reserved for health professionals authorized to practice, and for the team members they authorize. By signing up, you warrant that the information you provide is accurate and that you are a health professional.
Creating an account is free. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
4.Account and security
Your credentials are strictly personal; you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for any activity carried out from your account. Notify us without delay of any unauthorized use.
Clinical data is encrypted on your device before it is sent, and the medical servers store only encrypted data. The encryption keys associated with your account are kept by SafiDoctor's authentication service and delivered to you over an encrypted connection when you sign in; they are shared only with the team members you have authorized.
5.Description of the Service
The Service provides practice management tools: calendar and appointments, patient records, prescriptions, stock, billing and earnings, and teamwork within organizations.
We improve the Service continuously; features may be added, changed, or removed. We strive for maximum availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation (maintenance, incidents, force majeure).
6.The Service is not a medical device
The Service is an organizational and administrative tool. It is not a medical device and provides no medical advice, diagnosis, or recommendation.
The built-in references (Algerian drug catalog, ICD-11 and SNOMED CT terminologies) are provided for documentation purposes. The practitioner remains solely responsible for clinical decisions, prescriptions, and for verifying any information before use.
7.User obligations
You undertake to:
- use the Service in compliance with the laws and regulations in force in Algeria, in particular Law No. 18-07 (personal data protection), Law No. 18-11 on health, and the code of medical ethics;
- respect medical secrecy and inform your patients that their records are computerized and of their rights;
- enter accurate information and keep it up to date;
- not harm the Service: no unauthorized access, bulk extraction, reverse engineering, resale, or provision to unauthorized third parties.
8.Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. For Patient Data, the practitioner is the data controller and SafiDoctor acts as a technical service provider.
9.Intellectual property
The platform, its visual identity, trademarks, and code remain the exclusive property of SafiDoctor. Your account grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for the duration of your use.
The data you enter remains yours. You only grant us the technical rights needed to host and process it in order to provide the Service.
10.Financial terms
The Service is currently provided free of charge. Some features may become paid; if so, prices and conditions will be communicated to you before any subscription, in accordance with applicable regulations, including Law No. 18-05 of 10 May 2018 on electronic commerce.
11.Liability
SafiDoctor is bound by a best-efforts obligation. To the extent permitted by Algerian law, we cannot be held liable for indirect damage, data loss attributable to the User, content entered by Users, medical decisions, or force majeure.
We recommend regularly exporting the important documents (prescriptions, invoices) generated by the Service.
12.Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time.
In the event of a serious breach of these Terms (impersonation, security breach, unlawful use), we may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with prior notice except in urgent cases.
When an account is closed, data is deleted or anonymized as described in the Privacy Policy.
13.Changes to the Terms
We may amend these Terms. Substantial changes will be notified through the Service or by email at least fifteen (15) days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
14.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Algerian law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be submitted to the competent Algerian courts, in accordance with the applicable rules of jurisdiction.
15.Languages
These Terms are available in Arabic, French, and English. In the event of a discrepancy, the Arabic version prevails.
